Shayla Braun lives in Fort Langley, BC with her husband, two daughters, one dog and two bunnies.  And hopefully one day, her future horse.  Which she will probably name Artex.  She grew up in Southern Alberta and moved out to British Columbia to complete her Art and English Degree at Trinity Western University.  She continued on to Simon Fraser University where she received her Education Degree and went on to teach High School Art and Graphic Design until she had her two daughters.  She stayed home with her girls until they began school and now works as a Creative Director and Graphic Designer.  And apparently a writer.  Kindfident is Braun's first book.
